Kizomba
Kizomba originated in Angola from a mix of traditional Angolan semba and zouk music from the French Caribbean Islands. It is both a dance form and a music style that is known by its close partner connection and its soft movements. Its popularity has expanded greatly in countries outside of Angola such as Portugal, the UK, France, Belgium, Spain, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, the US, and as well as in Eastern European countries.

Kizomba I
Kizomba Level I focuses on the Basics of Kizomba. In order to fully grasp the dance, it is important to understand how “just the basics” can influence the overall feel of the dance and how slight changes to simple steps can make the dance feel entirely different. Both leads and follows will work on the grounded step of Kizomba that differentiates it from salsa and bachata.
Kizomba Level I consists of two sessions: A & B. Please take both sessions before
progressing to level II (you can take them in any order).
