Dj Victor's Biography...

Victor Chavez, born and raised in Mexico City has been in the Disc Jockey business since 1998. Starting as a DJ at Century Ballroom, Seattle, Victor quickly got famous for his ability to read and entertain the crowd with his unique choice of music. In 1999 Victor was offered a DJ position at “The Last Supper Club” in Pioneer Square, where he DJ’d “Latin Nights” for four years. During that time he also served as a DJ for a local Latin radio station “Radio Sol.”

Since then, Victor has expanded his DJ career nationally and internationally. In 2000 he was invited to DJ at the Los Angeles Salsa Congress, a four day event with over 25,000 people, hosted at the renowned “Casino Royal.” And in 2004 Victor DJ’d at the first Vancouver Salsa Congress.

In 2010 Victor received a recognition award for being considered one of the top five Latin DJ’s in Seattle.

Over the years Victor has played at numerous venues in Seattle and Portland including the Sea Sound Lounge, Rock Salt, China Harbor, Habana Sodo, Twilight, O’Asian, Mambo Lounge, and many more, he has also played at numerous private parties, weddings, cruises, and corporate events.

Victor possesses a unique ability to listen, observe, and adjust his style and level of interaction accordingly, which ensures guests feel good and have a great time at any type of event. What is unique about Victor is that he is not only a DJ but also a dancer and performer. He is passionate about his music and dancing and projects that passion to his audience ensuring that everybody will dance at your event. Although Victor holds a variety of styles of music for any diverse audience, his expertise and passion is in Latin music and Latin or mixed events.
